Osborne recently posted on LinkedIn that he's decided to leave Jagex after fifteen years of editing content in narrative design, as well as lead design. The decision was made as he explains, to "test his experiences within the business OSRS Gold." Osborne is leaving Jagex and going straight into Square Enix on the publishing part, as a Senior Designer. He'll be in charge of "some wonderful games" beginning with Outriders.

This information prompted Redditor FatNWackyRS to contact members of r/Outriders with an easy message on Mod Osborne and describing him as the "warm, friendly "Dad" face at Jagex." FatNWackyRS describes the many things that Osborne has done for the community over the years, including some clips, such as playing the role of Mod Elfborne in order to promote Prifddinas (an Elf City in Runescape), joining livestreams and supporting the company's vision.

Many gamers or communities might be upset at losing a well-known company name, FatNWackyRS invited other Runescape players to talk about their experiences. One commenter, notably, feels like they've had to win and lose, as someone who plays at both Runescape and Outriders. Many were thrilled with this announcement, and some even had never played with Osborne prior to this glowing review from an individual in the Runescape community.

It's true that what exactly will happen on his part of the Outriders fence remains to be determined, but the fans are aware of a number of exciting things are coming to the game. Outriders' Worldslayer expansion is due to be released this spring and is set to be released in the year ahead as well as beyond. People Can Fly has a ton of other projects under development, including a brand new game with Square Enix. It is unclear if Osborne will be involved in thatproject, however, is yet to be determined.

FatNWackyRS ends his post with an unassuming, heartfelt note for Osborne, should he happen to be reading it A heartfelt thank you for everything he's done for Runescape and warm wishes for his tenure with Square Enix. "We are so grateful for you, we will be missing you, and we I wish you the highest amount of good fortunes for your exciting ventures with Square Enix," the Redditor wrote on behalf the RS community.

Based on my diary from 2006, I can reliably say I took the first step in Gielinor - the RuneScape setting - on the 29th of April in that year. Younger Lottie wrote about how RuneScape seemed pretty decent thanks to its awesome map before going on a tirade about how she couldn't locate the final installment of Neon Genesis Evangelion on what I believe was a legal website osrs account services. I wonder what she would have written had she known RuneScape would become a mainstay on her collection of gaming games.
